this is something i wrote.... You bent me, but I did not break My spirit, my love, my joy, that you could not take You hurt me again and again, You made me break down and cry, But my spirit is still very much alive, that my friend did not die You said I would be noone without you, that I would be all on my own, But people were there to save me, And oh my how my love for life has grown You tried to hold me down, I almost surely drowned, But now thank God above, my joy and happiness I have found You now are the one on your own, It is your turn, I think to sit and cry, and my turn to laugh and love, while you sit and wonder why Thank you for giving me a new look on life, thank you for giving me a whole new start, and I want you to know that for you there is only forgiveness in my heart.
