this is what I posted yesterday This book highlights the most important issue of our times - the explosion of wealth inequality in the last 40 years - note that he does NOT advocate (nor do I) the elimination of wealth inequality - it is necessary and beneficial, if it is managed properly - but the extent to which it has grown has led to the increasing economic inaccessability of medical care and education for a growing percentage of our population, and the explosion of the influence the super-rich have on our political processes is making us, as a society, progressively less able to formulate and implement important sociopolitical decisions - THIS is what we dont want to leave for our grandkids
