thought I would share this. It is from my cousins daughter who is tryng to get healthcare through the Obama Health care system. Friday is the cut-off day for Obama Care/Covered California. I spoke with a broker and I am not eligible for ANY subsidy. And if I would be at 400% I would only receive a 8.00 subsidy! Here comes the good part for all the nay sayers... A Bronze plan will cost me around 250.00 a month with an annual 6,000.00 deductible. Now tell me this is affordable care or that this is what We the People wanted for each other. This my friends, is a debacle. So now I have to pay a penalty of either 99.00 or 1% of my income. Ill take my chances until there is real insurance reform for the middle class
