time to stir the pot: bruh, this has been taught in public schools since who knows how long. teaching about the 5 pillars of islam isnt teaching islam, its teaching a very broad stroke of information that actually dictates the culture in an entire region of the world; thus the reason why its taught in World History. Dont claim that me or other parents didnt know they were teaching this because you probably dont know they are teaching the subtleties found in Robinson Crusoe or how to help with your childs trigonometry homework. Just because you dont teach it doesnt mean it doesnt exist; in fact, not teaching it only promotes ignorance and furthers the agenda of a racist America. Yes they do teach generalities about christianity, it just comes at a different time, on the timeline, in history. Also, the fact that this parent is a Marine is completely arbitrary and does not give him a pass to act how he wants. I wasnt there so who knows what the meeting looked like but general rule is if you act like a fool youll get treated like one.
