Less rain and drop in temperature is likely in the upper part of the North and the Northeast. The monsoon trough lies across the lower Central and the East, and the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, southern Thailand and the Gulf. More rain and isolated heavy rain is likely in the areas. During 6-9 Oct, another high pressure area from China will extend to upper Thailand. 1-2 oC drops is expected over the North, the Northeast and the upper Central. The monsoon trough will lie across the East and the upper South bringing abundant rain and isolated heavy rain in these areas. Tropical storm “FITOW” over the Pacific Ocean will move to the eastern China. This storm is no significant to Thailand. Warning During 3-6 Oct, people in the Central and the East should beware of heavy rain. During 4-9 Oct, people in the South should beware of heavy rain and all ship in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution.
