to make us realize we dont have it so bad- Yesterday morning when feeding cattle, we stopped in to see Grandma Becker who turned 99 Sunday and still lives at home. We were talking of the weather moving in and she said that reminds me of how my dad said I was born at home and it snowed so much they couldnt get me to a doctor or a doctor to me for 2 weeks. The snow would drift as high as the fence posts and they would wait for it to get hard enough for the horse to walk on and pull them across, but sometimes the horses would fall through, so it was very risky. Wow- love her sound mind and memory- and thankful for technology!!
