to this DAY i get people telling me they loved this song. The homie ran up on me at Trapfest and told me this song changed his life. That shits crazy to me. i told him, Im an El Paso kid just like you singing bout the shit I see in my city We really put work in on the stuff we do. so its amazing to me when people tell me that it actually has affected them. idk why some people think we all hollywood, throwing money at people to make stuff for us... na, DS Junior and I illegally camped out on the roof of a building downtown to get some of these shots. DS made this beat in the bedroom/studio while I went to work and pushed carts at Costco. I recorded myself in the closet while D slept on the floor cuz he worked at 7am. We bumped it for the first time at our apartment right there on Yarbrough and North Loop on the way to Chicos.
