today marks Londyns 1 year cancer free - the lp results from August where it showed bad cells in her spinal fluid. It has been an eventful, always worrisome, happy, sad, miserable at time, joyful year. Londyn has come sooo far and has proven to us that she can not only take on cancer but beat it! Although cancer never really goes away its undetectable at this time. Im going to be thanking God extra today and always for keeping Londyn out of the hospital and home with us This past year has been a bit of a struggle for me/us! But.... We made it this far, and well continue to go! Londyns weight last week was 19lbs 6ozs. Her weight today is 19lbs 8ozs :))) So she is continuing to go in the right direction :) Shes continuing to do good drinking her calories wise versus eating. She does munch/ eat a few bites of food but isnt eating a big portion wise. Im not concerned, at least not yet. So in this past year+ since diagnosis Londyn has had 1 picc line, 1 cvl many more than i can count blood draws, many many transfusions, only 2 bad reactions to transfusions, over 100 days spent inpatient, got rid of her ng tube, lost her hair well what she had 3 times and grew to be soo incredibly loved by a lot of the nurses in Childrens Hospital . I could not be more thankful for all the love, prayers and support that has guided us through this tough time for our family Its heartbreaking to see or hear anyone diagnosed with cancer especially a baby
