today some guy asked me if I was from here because I sound like I have a slight accent then he mentioned it sounds like someone he knows......he asked if I am from here ( Wisconsin) and I said yes.......... I think he thought I sounded like I was from Minnesota a little bit or from elsewhere........ yeah .......I know that but perhaps he was not thinking ....... I dont really have that accent ....... but it is kind of a midwest thing I think is what he was recognizing.............even over the phone people can kind of tell mildly at least what region I am from...... I just thought it was funny he asked me about that .............though people have said midwesterners talk the way you are supposed to talk............ but over the phone people did mostly guess the general whereabouts......... I hope he was not thinking it was that stereotypical one that I mock so much....if people talk to me without seeing me they guess Chicago, Minnesota, I have heard them say Up near Canada or parts of New York.............they kind of generally fall into a similar bracket but the guy WAS in Wisconsin.... hello that is where I am from........ derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr anyhow there is some big roller derby thing going on....... at the Arena.... I met a person from Philly who is into roller derby I know we have the Brew City Bruisers here .... lots of people in town for that as it is a national competition ...I have never seen it before ....
