u15 ladies team munster 7s in carrick on suir,the girls had 3 games in this tournament on saturday ,where the rugby they played continued to move sharply up the graph throughout the afternoon ,there handling ,support play and expansive running rugby ,with a great display of tackling in defence,was a joy to watch and was commented on by many of the spectators ,Caroline Downey was captain on the day and certainly lead from the front without doubt having the highest successful tackle count and managing to find the time to score a few trys aswell,Cliona OConnor was always on hand with her great lines of running and also got on the scoreboard,Clodagh Burke was top try scorer on the day where seemingly limitless level of energy allowed her to support players time and again to finish off the move with atry.Ellen Cronin making her debut had a great outing ,with one kick ahead by herself being collected single handely from the ground (aka brian o driscoll) between opposing players finished with a dive over the line.Ellie Hutchinson also got on score sheet ,but her great work was around the pitch in appearing at every ruck with a positive contribution.Becky OSullivan was i believe in volved in every move constantly making the hard yards ,also contributing to the scoreboard.Kate Scully again belied her years and kept a steady supply of ball to her teammates off scrums and rucks and was not found wanting in defence bringing off some great tackles.
