ugh, long week, accumulative pain effect hit around five... My apologies to those at the Darcy McGee debrief.... but I know the symptoms and what happens when i do not get pressure off my spine via a bed or a couch asap so forgive me for the hasty retreat. Hope to see you guys on the hill tomorrow specially the RCR guys who stood and made me feel so proud of the regiment over the past couple of days I would also thank the dozens of veterans, wives, mothers and girlfriends and family member who I was able to consult with. Consultation is vital to my advocacy efforts on behalf of those who are experiencing problems with VAC and in identifying the primary issues. I try to be accessible and I thank many for your patience in waiting around to speak with me when others already were engaged. As always, I am eager to LISTEN and when possible, offer assistance. Sadly, we cannot help everybody, the complexity of the adversities veterans are confronting may surpass our resources or, as a three man team with a primary focus on advocacy, preclude my taking on you case due to the fact I simply do not have time. Remember, those of use who serve the CVA do so on a voluntary basis. WE HAVE FAMILIES. lol. Neither Jerry, Sylvain or myself receive one dime for our efforts and we bear the burden of food and beverage costs while on the road out of our own pocket. As such, I would thank those who bought me a tasty beverage last night at the pub, Im on hot dogs tomorrow, then a pit stop in Trenton for the highway of heroes ride then home sweet home to some puggy snot and lovin...
