ugh real estate people: get this my offer on a house was rejected even though I had a letter from a bank approving the money based on the equity I have in two other homes. according to this so called agent that constituted a contingency. However their buyer were granted a verbal approval from the seller and agent providing proof of cash on hand or other means to buy the same house by ten oclock the next day. Now isnt that also a contingency? And now I find out my offer was higher.
