ukar.co.uk/ look at the website - UK asset resolution is set up to manage the mortgages which Northern rock and Bradford & Bingley couldnt sell on when they were effectively Nationalised. They do exactly as it says on the tin Resolve assets i.e. make them solvent - turn them back into cash! They can call in your mortgage and repossess your home EVEN IF YOUR PAYMENTS ARE UP TO DATE! They will do this just to make Northern Rocks & B&Bs balance sheet look more favourable and make them more attractive to investors when they are sold off! They are NOT bailiffs! They are a government funded body who are not even controlled by the FSA. They are effectively government Mafia! Tom may have paid off his endowment policy but if it does not mature for a few more years then UKAR still hold his mortgage and effectively OWN HIS HOUSE! This Facebook group needs to put pressure on the Government to change the way UKAR and its associate work as they have not only been recovering houses but pulling the rug from under the feet of successful businesses by calling in loans on a whim.
