update from insects united. today i am feeling nostalgic. missing so many of my friends and comrades who lit the night for our delight. the fireflies are fading from our view in rapid fashion. their lights are being extinguished by the constant stream of poisons and habitat destruction that man inflicts upon the earth to feed his greed. the stars of the fields are being replaced by concrete and businesses whose only purpose is to make a profit. humans trade life like a commodity. mankind sits idly by and watches as our brothers die. in the end it is we that will survive to re-inhabit the earth. man is numbering his own days; he rolls the dice of his own destruction. we are insects united; ‘occupy the earth from the ground up.’ we will survive and thrive when man’s reign is over. we are united in the cause to preserve life on earth. we are invincible.
