update on some of my vague posts about my health....i had a biopsy of my abdominal lymph nodes on Halloween, and the final pathology report came back on Monday evening. I have a non-Hodgkins lymphoma - more specifically a high grade diffuse large B cell lymphoma. theres your big medical term for the day! i have a consult with Oncology on Tuesday 11/12, to best figure out the course of action, but it will most probably be chemotherapy. so, please keep me in your thoughts and prayers (any religion/denomination works for me), and keep sending those cyber hugs! we dont need any negatives, so please keep those to yourself. we have no idea WHY this happened, but it did. from our internet research, it appears that this form of non-hodgkins is very treatable, so thats what were focusing on right now. a huge shout out and thank you to my hubby, Bob Bichler, and kids, Sara Bichler & Steven Bichler who have been pitching in to keep things running around here, getting me places i have to be, and being a huge support system. i love them more than words can describe.
