update today they removed the tube/drain that the south county surgeon had put in..it was a simple procedure. isaac has 2 tubes/drains plus 3 incisions plus one needle wound where they went in and drained the left abscess. there is still one abscess in his abdomen..the dr was hoping it wound drain,thinking it was attached to another abscess..but it doesnt seem to b draining as of now...he might have to have another procedure like yesterdays to get it drained. plus the appendix is still in there... his job for today was to get up and walk down the hall and back 3xs...he has done it twice so far.... he is very uncomfortable..and would rather b left alone..but between myself and the amazing nurses here..we have got him up and moving... ya..i got this.
