Category A (partner country) Scholarships for Non European * students 2015-2016 For the academic year 2015-2016 the amount granted of EM Category A (partner country) grants for students covers: The registration fees and other participation costs (€ 4000 per semester). The grant also offers a fee as contribution to travel, installation, visa related costs and any other type of costs: € 1000 for installation cost € 3000 per year for travel costs for scholarship holder resident of a Partner Country whose location is situated at 4000km or more from EM Master Course Coordination or € 2000 per year for travel costs for scholarship holder resident of a Partner Country whose location is situated at less than 4000km from EM Master Course Coordination) A monthly payment of 1,000 Euro per each academic year (12 months). As WOP-P Master is a two year programme, the student will receive monthly payments during 24 months. The contribution to the travel costs takes into account the residence of the scholarship holder. A unit cost per academic year and a distance band of 4.000 km applies to any student resident of a Partner Country (including students with a Programme Country nationality). Students resident of a Programme Country (including students with a Partner Country nationality) are covered by a fixed unit cost per academic year (1 000 EUR). The amounts of travel and installation costs indicated in the scholarship application form reflect the maximum amount the Agency could grant to scholarship holders residents in a Partner Country or in a Programme country. The final maximum grant the Agency will pay for these costs will depend on the residence of selected scholarship holders who will finally follow the programme. Who can ask for a Category A grant? is a student who comes from a country other than Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) and who is not a permanent resident nor has carried out his/her main activity (studies, training and work) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in at least one of the mentioned countries in this paragraph, (until 27 February 2015) in one of the Programme countries. Special Note on 2015-2016 Geographical windows Additional scholarships should be made available for students from specific geographical areas: Asia: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Korea, Indonesia, Laos, DPR Korea, Indonesia, Laos,DPR Korea, Indonesia, Laos, DPR Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam Central Asia: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan Middle East: Iran, Iraq, and Yemen Latin America - Lower Middle income countries: Bolivia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Paraguay. Latin America: Brazil and Mexico Latin America - Remaining countries: Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, , Cuba, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela. South Africa ENI South: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, and Tunisia ENI East: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Territory of Ukraine as recognised by international law. Gulf countries: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the Unit Arab Emirates Application deadline Application procedure and forms Category B (programme country) scholarships for European* students 2015-2016 For the academic year 2015-2016 , the amount granted of EM Category B grants for students covers: The registration fees and other participation costs (€ 1,300 per semester). The grant also offers a fee as contribution to travel, installation, visa related costs and any other type of costs (€ 1000 per year), A monthly payment of 1000 euros per each academic year (12 months). As WOP Master is a two year programme, the student will receive the monthly payment during 24 months. Who can ask for a Category B grant? is a student who comes from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) or who, not coming from the mentioned countries, is a permanent resident or has carried out his/her main activity (studies, training and work) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in at least one of the mentioned countries in this paragraph, (until 27 February 2015) in one of the Programme countries.
