very sad today...have arranged for the wee cat, Ivan ...dont ask me why Ivan.... to be cremated and he will come home here so that he will at least be part of a family and not alone anymore. I ask myself why so many times...why are people so uncaring, why do we not take responsibility why do we shrug pets off as if they dont count- just an accessory- a piece of rubbish to be got rid of to be left alone, abandoned. I have no answers I can print here, I have no solutions I can print here..... I look round at all those we have taken on because of my volunteering role because we could not find homes and see amazing lives that are enjoying their life, that give pleasure unknowingly with their antics and characters but that can be annoying at times but oh so endearing at others and know they are so lucky - so very lucky. I know what I would do with a lottery win....I wish all those creatures that today are struggling to survive, are cold, alone, hungry and or unwell....that they would find either a loving home or a safe journey in peace and without pain....their pain is my pain and I feel for each and every one of them.
