In a recent appearance on The Talk, Roseanne fielded questions about a rumor that Clooney tacked up the photo on the Roseanne set fridge during a wrap party. George was a regular guest on the show. Roseanne doesn’t bat an eye while confirming the story to be 100% true. Clooney is known for his pranks, after all. For his part, George denies. He told The New York Daily News that yes, he did dress up George Jr. in glasses, calling it “the face”, but, “I knew better than to do it at that stage of my career. I must have told her the story.” Either way, there was definitely something funny happening on set. Here’s another juicy quote from George’s time on the show from a Rolling Stone interview: “I worked on her first series, and when I met her she said, ‘You’re really good looking, why don’t you take me out behind the stage and make me stink.’ She was unbelievably kind to me at a time when no one was.” If that constitutes unbelievable kindness, we know exactly how we’ll play it if we ever bump into George out and about. bit.ly/1sv9HoC
