wanted to thank my brother Downlink for his incredibly kind words on his Facebook page. For me, emotional. Glad we had the journey together known as BLOOD SWEAT AND BASS which inspired my latest mix. Cant wait for next years tour! Oh yeah..and he toured with Andy C ;) ---- Downlink says : As a verified legend of drum n bass this man needs no introduction. All I can say is that watching this guy mix while on the BLOOD, SWEAT & BASS tour forever cemented him in my mind as one of if not the best live DJ Ive ever seen. Im not talking about anthem mashing or hands up DJing or jumping around throwing shit at the crowd (or other DJs lol), Im talking about punk-rock fly by the seat of your pants REAL mixing on 4 decks. His mixing has since then even inspired me to move from Serato to USB sticks on 4 decks. I got into drum n bass back in 2000 after hearing his The 6ixth Session and was convinced it was the best mix on the planet at the time. This mix may well have superseded that, demanding repeated listens... Props to DSL for including forthcoming Uplink Audio artist Koronis in the mix. Also, be sure to keep an ear out at the end of the mix for my new collab with Mayhem and Faces of Def (Dieselboy & Mark the Beast) CARCOSA.
