was asked to share this: Entrances to the proposed mine site are still blocked by protectors. There was a scare this morning when several police vehicles and the rescue unit showed up but they went away again saying it was a training exercise! I suspect that we will see more real intent next time. I dont know when that will be. We need people to maintain the vigils and stand by to support Simmos. Camp is lively and fun, operating well and getting improved all the time. Come lend a hand if you can. Parking is getting tight with signs now along Bentley and prt of Bungabee roads. You can go further down Bungabee Road to park or take your chances on the east end of camp which can get muddy. Vision fine weather for next few weeks. Rain bothers us more than it does the gas ghouls. Stand by to come again when a red alert is called. What a fantastic community we are! (from Sledge)
