was this girl who was the friend of my best friend. We started chatting and became good friends. I started loving her but I didnt say because she already had a boyfriend. This continued for 5-6 months. Then one day she called me, weeping badly. She told me that her boyfriend was cheating on her. I tried to console her like a good friend. After few days they broke up. I was with her as a friend. I admit that some part of me wanted to say to her that I love you and I just want to keep you happy. But I thought at that point she needed support of a friend. I used to cheer her up. We came closer. We did intern together. I thought I would propose her on the last day. But one day she told me she and her BF had got back together. I couldnt do anything but to give her a smile and walk away. I shared everything with my best friend. She (my best friend) was in love with me which I didnt know. I also loved her a lot as a friend. I didnt realize that she loved me. What a fool I was that I used to tell her how much I loved her friend. And she listened like a friend while feeling bad inside that I (her best friend) loves someone else. But still she supported me. As the months passed by, that girl I love stopped talking to me. I dunno what was the reason. I felt bad because once she was such a good friend and I was happy with friendship. But between all this my best friend was always with me. It took me another whole year to realize her love for me. But one day when someone else proposed her and she told me about it, thats when I imagined that one day she will go away with someone else. As this thought came to my mind I realized what true love was. I couldt even think of her spending life with someone else. I wanted my best friend to be with me always. I proposed her and it came out accidentally. She spontaneously said YES.
