watched an absolutely wonderful documentary SEDUCED & ABANDONED, by notable director James Toback with Alec Baldwin as they go to Cannes in search of financing for a potential project based on LAST TANGO IN PARIS. Its not only a feast for film fans, its an insightful and interesting exploration of chasing filthy lucre. Lots of players, actors & dirrectors & producer types. The wheeling and dealing desperation and duplicitousness of some investors and the balancing act of film incentives, bankable distribution & home video dollars almost (I SAID ALMOST!!) makes you sympathetic toward those folks who produce the films we work on.
