watched the absolutely horrific video because... i wanted to see the reality. i know many ppl told me not to watch bc it is too much to bear and awful but i needed to see what and who is really out there...to get a sense of reality. to feel that knot in my stomach knowing what i just saw is real and not some sick scene from a movie. to see what is actually happening in the world outside of our utopian bubble. the only thing i could think of is how, how can we convince this man to stop the violence and just let all this hatred go! how to stop his madness. everyday I should be counting my blessings i am not living in sickness and war and violence. we often fail to realize there is a world out there much much bigger than any of us can even imagine. the chaos and pain is unmeasurable. as free americans we are blessed. BLESSED. even the poorest of the poor should be counting their blessings bc we have no idea what true violence and suffering is until you see someone die a senseless death all from anger and resentment. an anger that is so strong it has no definition. the video is upsetting but it is a reality check. people are dying and the violence is REAL. the hate is real. i am not sure what we can do bc unfortunately the problem is bigger than all of us. but what we can do for ourselves is be gracious and thankful. loving to ourselves and those around us. hate is like a death for the soul. you have already given up on yourself and others.... sorry for such a long post but i could not keep these thoughts to myself. felt the need to share and encourage awareness...of PEACE
