we again adopted 2 seniors this year for christmas...i had made food and dropped it off today..while walking out a lady that lives there was walking the hall and asked if I had come from alicias (one of the ladies we adopted) I said yes and she started telling me how happy alicia was with her gifts that we dropped off to her a few days ago..she said she applied for the adopt a senior program this year..i asked her if anyone adopted her and she said no, but last year a guy bought me towels and a gift certif. to meijers..she then went on to say how thankful she was and that its ok if she didnt get adopted this year...i encourage everyone todto something like this every year! these seniors need it!! there is a senior community very close to my house at 19 & garfield and is a very nice place.
