. . . we are all equal and if a boy can go out at night so can a girl. There are two problems in this statement. The first one is that the phrase we are all equal always seems to be followed by if a boy can go out at night so can a girl, when said by a girl. Its as if going out at night or staying out late is the most important topic in feminism. The second problem is that in the present context of the society, it would be beneficial to treat the statement false, because no matter how much you argue about equality and feminism and what not, the shifty eyed man oggling at you from the corner of the street usually has only one thing in mind. However, this does not mean we should keep quiet while these kinds of derogatory things happen. It just means that we should keep CAUTION while working towards eradicating these things COMPLETELY, instead of foolishly refuting that these things do happen!
