we are all one People -- Antoinette Nora Claypoole, from the poem below the streets of Phoenix one. tasting the hate crowds feather themselves on dusty streets like hawks caught in a tornado of battle ships shoving themselves to port the People gathered. to mourn being Human as the treasure lost in Sierra Madre the treasure lost in colored words. turned brown red yellow white the cussing persisted the search for People persisted, the kaleidoscope deceived the People as a Circle was broken a song cracked in the background may the circle be unbroken by and by could not be translated into any language the People understand the People were the lost treasure for which they fought. two. one thousand miles away her Mother bought a silk scarf crafted by holy People. of the Sky. it allows her to cry as it is bathed in flickered beauty everything is a song in the heart of travellers. she whispered. while the children asked what colored skin is what race means and the old ones kept the dream: we are all one People. ~ by Antoinette Nora Claypoole (posted this evening) a poem from my as yet unpublished collection. inspired to post it tonight because of Sally Rademakers fine words, here on my FB page, earlier this evening. For all of us
