we humans tend to be an impatient bunch. we dont like to wait for anything. and living in an age where most things we can get instantly, just with a push of a button, or the click of a mouse, doesnt help. so when we are faced with certain things in our lives that require time to get, or achieve, we get impatient. the problem is that in doing so, we try to rush along things. so that we can recieve it quicker. and sometimes that leads to making poor choices, that can put us in bad situations. like being in the wrong relationship, or in a bad marriage, because we wanted so much to be in love, and with that special someone, that we went with the first person that came along that showed us attention. then there are those that want to become a star athlete, and in a hurry to get there, they take certain shortcuts to get there, and now they suffer from addiction, and those dreams of the big leagues, are a distant memory. thats why we need to wait. we need to be patient. and most importantly, we need to trust in God to provide for us. we need to let Him help lead us towards these goals. and we need to trust in Him that He will give us the desires of our heart, at the right time, when we are ready. because He will. God knows you want to be in love. He knows your career goals. He knows the dreams and hopes you have for your life. and He wants you to have it all. and He is working in your lives to provide it all. but in the right time, not in the time we see that it should be. so trust in God. He has great things planned ahead for you. He will give you all that you could ever hope for, and then some. and believe me, every bit of it is worth the wait. in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.-2 Corinthians 9:8(ESV) 25 Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the godly abandoned or their children begging for bread. 26 The godly always give generous loans to others, and their children are a blessing.-Psalm 37:25-26(NLT) 25 “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? 27 Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? 28 “And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, 29 yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. 30 And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? 31 “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ 32 These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. 33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. 34 “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.-Matthew 6:25-34(NLT) 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. 6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.-Proverbs 3:5-6(NLT) But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.-Romans 8:25(ESV) 7 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! 8 Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil. 9 For the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the Lord shall inherit the land.-Psalm 37:7-9(ESV)
