website of sayyed Fadlallah institution #بينات #مواقف إنّ الله تعالى يريد لنا في حياتنا السياسيّة والاجتماعيّة، أو في تنوّعاتنا الطائفيّة والمذهبيّة، أن لا ندير العلاقات بطريقة تربك المجتمع وتثير المشاكل في كل أوضاعه. وعلى ضوء هذا، علينا أن نربّي أنفسنا وأولادنا في الخلافات المذهبية أو الطائفية على احترام الآخر. نحن لدينا خلافات كمسلمين، مثلاً، بين السنّة والشيعة حول مَن هو الخليفة الحق، وهناك أسلوبان للتعامل مع هذه المسألة: أسلوب النقاش، ليطرح كل طرف حجته، فإما أن نقنع بعضنا بعضاً، أو على الأقل نتفاهم فيما بيننا، وهناك أسلوب اللعن والسبّ، وهو الأسلوب الذي يؤدي بنا إلى أن يكفّر بعضنا بعضاً. وهذا ما حذّر منه النبي (ص) في حجة الوداع، حيث قال: «لا ترجعوا من بعدي كفاراً يضرب بعضكم رقاب بعض». Allah wants us in our political and social lives or in our confessional and sectarian diversities not to run our relations in a way that confuses the society and incite problems in all its situations. In the light of this, we ought to teach ourselves and our children, in cases of sectarian or confessional differences, to respect the other. We Muslims, as Shiites and Sunnis, have differences over who the right Caliph is, and there are two methods to deal with this matter: the method of dialogue and discussion whereby each party presents its argument and either we convince each other or we at least reach an understanding among each other, and the method of cursing and swearing whereby we might end up in accusing each other of disbelief, knowing that this is what the Prophet (p.) warned us against in his farewell sermon, for he said: “After me, do not turn apostates – cursing each another and accusing each other of disbelief - striking at the necks of one another
