weekly inspiration -06/20/13: Sea of Forgetfulness Once a friend asked a question of me, if I knew how far to Heaven ‘twould be? I replied, (unsure of a span so vast); ‘tis beyond the Sea of Forgetfulness. With a quizzical look he asked yet again to answer, so that he might understand. “Unless you know your sins are forgiven, you’ll never cross that Sea into Heaven.” “Over here, you board at the foot of the Cross. Then, on the journey, overboard they are tossed. Dropped to the bottom; remembered no more, you’re then ready to land on Heaven’s fair shores!” “Isaiah and Micah, both Prophets of old wrote in their pages what they had been told. Though Satan tries to bring them back to your mind, once GOD forgives them, they’re lost for all time!” ‘Tis amazing to think the Creator of all would choose to forget, how far we’d fall! True repentance HE knows, comes from the heart. So through Mercy and Grace, HE grants a new start! “Can it happen for me given all that I’ve done?” He asked of me, knowing I’d won. “Yes” I replied. “Just drop your load of regrets at the shore of HIS Heart. Trust HIM to forget.” “Then hear JESUS tell you”, “Sin nevermore”. “Let your journey begin to that Blessed Shore! A journey where Angels sing eternally ‘bout the Mercy of GOD on that Wonderful Sea!” --Scott Forrester
