well. Lou Reeds gone. and im getting notices from old friends who remember how big he was with me and my crew. so i should acknowledge some lou reed moments in my story. *1972. walked into tigers records (south side of independence ave) and purposely bought transformer for $3. it became part of my listening quartet of the time. ziggystardust/manwhosoldtheworld/electricwarrior/transformer *after first meeting rusty (guitarist), i took my brothers drumset to his practice place to attempt to add drums to rusty & don clores music. they were both wonder players..and after about 5 drumming attempts, rusty asked me do u sing or anything? so i sang lou reed songs the rest of the practice. that started what turned out to be the band slam. *on one particularly 70s-ish messed up night, the band et al were partying at this gay dudes place
