well...at least Im walking the walk. Today, I got voted in (I didnt know the vote was happening until it was happening) as the Secretary (mostly working to improve parent-school communication) for my sons PTSA. I guess if you complain enough that there isnt adequate communication, youre tasked with helping improve parent communication. I didnt realize just how bad it was at Olmsted North, how tight the budget was, how unengaged the parents are (granted, the school can come across as a Fortress School)...so, anyone with a cotton candy or snow cone machine we could use for the Fall Festival on October 24th? How about a hot-rod, vintage car or motorcycle? Anyone want to set up a booth at the fall festival? Help some children with reading or other subject? And here I thought I was going to invest this extra time into growing my business, I guess what needs growing is my sons school instead.
