well folks we did open the cafe on thanksgiving, we didnt have as many as we were hoping for, but thats ok, all the people that did make it was so happy that we were open, and yes the gentleman did bring his mom here from the nursing home. and as i have said in the past, i love this little cafe because y0u never know who might come thru that door. this thanksgiving day was another one of these day, this person is another one i havent seen in over 50 yrs, and i knew him the instant i saw him, iam speaking of lex clark, he and his wife and her relatives. we had a very good chat in between his salad and his dinner. and today (sunday) it was great seeing james and betty barnes, iam glad he is doing well and is on his way of recovery. oh mike may i got another person hooked on the brittle, paula block went to see jan who was wanting some, since she said that mike may bragged on it so much, so paula surprized her with some. and jan i pleased that you liked it so well. and this thought is from my heart, i love seeing judy stockton every day, she is such a sweetheart, iam loving her more each passing day.
