well today would have been my Dads 107th birthday...had he lived!!! Yes I know you all think ...oh my Ellen you are much to young to have a dad that old..and yes you are all right!!!! Dad was 60 when my momand him decided they would talk...err I mean ...well you know and thus 9 months later little cute me was here!!1 My dad was something else...handsome like an old time actor..not like Clark Gable more like William Holden....with the dry humor of Jonathon Winters or Robin Williams...and laughed at his own jokes all the time. He was a man before his time once writing to Schick about one of their products that he believed warded off wrinkles....we call it the electric shaver....he also was somewhat of a Man of LaMacha believing he invented a windmill type of system cooling off Marine Bar and Grill by positioning the doors to the bar....well who knew he would be right!!! Anyway heres to you my dad a kind,funny and easy going soul...happy birthday daddy!!! You crazy Viking you....whos ashes may still be floating in Gravesend bay!!!
