wewillbeheard.org/ We are proud to present the most comprehensive survey to date regarding the Tax. We need as many people as possible to complete this survey in order to demonstrate what is happening to everyone affected by it. This is extremely important, not only to help those in higher positions to understand the impact of it, but this survey is also a way of identifying how the Bedroom Tax is affecting a cross-section of society in a very detailed way. We would like to explain what your lives were like before the Bedroom Tax, also, certain situations, for example: if you have a child near a birthday which qualifies for another room, so moving home would be inappropriate. In our survey, we seek to highlight all the issues that this Coalition Government would wish us to ignore, and the consequences both personally and for society. Our aim is to help protect those affected by the Bedroom Tax, because we can no longer trust the Government to fulfill their obligations to society, and their legal duty to protect the vulnerable. So please complete this survey, if you wish to make a difference. It really is up to you to help us tell the reality of how it affects you and your family. We contacted the United Nations on the 15th September, explaining that we would like to conduct this survey, and deliver a more detailed report to them. We explained that we wanted to help with their investigation into the housing crisis in our country, and deliver a snapshot of the crisis being engendered by the Tax. Furthermore, we will continue this survey and deliver the results by hand, in time for Christmas to the three Party leaders – David Cameron, Nick Clegg and Ed Milliband, as well as emailing it to every MP in the country. You know from our previous efforts, when we say we are going to do something, we will: with passion, grace, and without leaving any stone unturned. We kept the Personal Petition promise of delivery to Number 10, and the United Nations. We successfully delivered thousands of personal testimonials as reported in The Daily Mirror. We will keep this promise too. We really need you to embrace this survey and complete it, enabling us to establish a comprehensive and coherent report detailing the full extent of the impact on peoples lives and society. Furthermore, when we deliver this sobering Christmas Present to Number 10 Downing Street, we would like to acknowledge as many groups as possible who have supported this survey, and will be identified and unstintingly acknowledged within this surveys report. We believe that unity and teamwork are key because we are stronger together. We are inviting every group, charity, organisation and campaigner to support and sign this survey, as our equals. Many of you know that previously, when we campaigned we encouraged groups to work together; we are continuing to do so, as this how we will win the battle. Please fill in the contact form registering your name, and/or organisation, and we will proudly acknowledge it in the report and on the website, when you have contacted us and promoted this survey. We hope to hear from you very soon. Together we really will achieve change, particularly for the most vulnerable groups in our society. We would like to say thank you to each and every admin from Bedroom Tax & Disabled for their time and effort whilst this survey has been designed. Jessica McCarnun, Taran McCarnun, Adam Roche, Lorraine Antwis, Claire Louise Rich, Stephen Lathwell, Ann Robb and John Ingleson. All Personal details provided in the Survey will be withheld from the Reports for all releases, and only be delivered if requested by the United Nations and Parliament for verification purposes. Thank you for taking the time to complete the Survey.
