when you read the match report in the paper sounds like budliegh played really well perhaps i was watching through rose tinted specs they had about 4 efforts on goal the whole game what i can say is we had two goals chalked off one from a corner was a good foot over the goal line apart from that there was some woeful shooting from us as chance after chance went begging we found our selfs one nil down to budlieghs only shoot of the game a lob over fred assisted by the horrible wind that saw the corner flags at the ground spend most of the game bent over double as our chance continued to go begging despite playing some lovely football in harsh condition with 10 to go a rare budliegh attack saw point go for a challenge on Danny williams in our box i give him 9/10 for the way he went down but he won a penalty which should have wrapped up the points for them against the play but big bad fred had other ideas a produced a world class save boyed on by the let off we layed siege to the budliegh goal 2 mins to go some lovely passing in th box harry taylor from 15 yards hit the shot towards the bottom corner of the net shot lacked power saved by the keeper that was it off to the changing rooms i thought as i got to the goal behind the changing rooms i looked up to see we had the ball in there area again it was pinging about when it went towards there keeper and harry ghosted between defender and keeper to smash home to rescue a point with the final touch of the game. deserved more but in the end happy to get a point in the circumstances man of the match Fred tonkin dick of the day points
