when you see an old 71 year old homeless man, just 3 days ago,was unkempt and sad and sleeping on a chair inside Mac Donalds,you offer him a meal,you kept him company n chat for an hour,the next day you wash his clothes..gets him a new set to wear,sees him happily arranges his sleeping bag on a bench knowing he does not have to worry about sleeping out cold,next day you returned with friends and we brought him to the barber to get a haircut and a shave..top up his hp..spend a few hours encouraging him not to give up on life..you see a blessed difference in their once hopeless depressed eyes..you see their eyes lit up with hope n tears of happiness..you know as a human being with a heart you have done your part..friends say i am crazy to go solo and look for the poor and feed them but hey, i cant close my eyes and pretend not to see the rising poverty in many corners of SG..i want to thank all my friends who helped me these few days even coming out late at nite tired from work..some i have never even met before..you guys are just great!!! and to those who are doing crowd funding tonite to help him find a bed to rent,you have my deepest respect!!!kamsia many many
