The Assistant Board Secretary coordinates the business of and assists in the daily operations of and communications with the Board of Directors, which requires frequent interaction with senior governmental officials and executives both within and outside of the Authority. Responsible for preparing Board Agendas and Board Meeting Minutes and maintains the corporate records as required by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority Compact. The incumbent must possess a good understanding of and a familiarity with the Authority¿s programs and policies.Qualification RequirementsTo be considered for the position, you must meet minimum qualifications. It is, therefore, very important for you to include on your application any education/experience you have had that is described in the minimum qualifications. Incomplete information may delay the assessment process.QualificationsGraduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor¿s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
