wow I had a interesting eve.While i was grilling tonight a man approached me and asked for some water.. so i was nice and brought him out a plastic cup with ice water, he thanked me and then proceeded to tell me his bad luck story about how he just got out of detox for the twentieth time.. lol... and he was waiting for a lady friend to pick him up.. so after about ten minutes i said well hey man i got to get back to grilling and the kids and some house work... then he pulled out a pack of rolling papers and then started to fill it some old cig butts that he found.. wtf..lol. when he initially approached I had noticed a bottle of what I thought was a beer in his pocket.. well when i came back outside he had pulled the bottle out and holy shit he was drinking COOKING SHERRY...OMFG, thats when i was like OK well i got shit to do and went back in. Then about five minutes later i noticed him across the street and receiving a plastic bag from some lady.. then he came back over to my yard and sat back down on the grass.. well apparently this lady was doing him a favor as well and had brought him a gallon of water and two bananas, a snickers bar and a frozen loaf of bread... again omfg... then pulls out 14 cents and wanted to buy a cigarette from me. I just gave him one and said keep your change, then offers me the frozen bread as payment for my generosity.I said thats ok you should eat it. Then after about ten more mins he had left and noticed him across the street trying to talk to these old ladys for you could only imagine. Then finally had walked away to leave the plastic gas station cup, the loaf of shitty frozen bread and the empty cooking sherry bottle in my yard... f - in speechless. but in all im glad he went on his way.. just a very weird scenario to deal with. So glad im moving soon:)
