written by the most famous lebanese poet Said Akl, it has a great meaning but it is somehow difficult to translate because of the deep and sincere expressions in each sentence. It is sung by the famous Lebanese singer Majida Roumi. This hymn was sung in a Recital called A christmas night at the presidential Palace in Lebanon. It was a very touching recital seeing these kids singing and thanking God along with a very nice poem and a great voice. Find below an un official translation of this hymn: Give us O Lord before all gifts, a look at your sublimity. Without your great handsome face, everything is an illusion. O Lord, Give us to see you. O Lord, take away the horrors that hit us, Grant us what no-one can give us. Oh Lord, Your dignified hand do not arrest, therefore who cannot grow in you? When birds drink water they turn toward you thanking and they rise toward you in the morning like a prayer of tweets and flowers. O Holy large capacity, have pity on the needy, look at the plugged in the abundance of you light, look at the rogue planet. Every hill in Lebanon shined praying; every space wandered and sublimated the mountain of goodness. O Lord open the heavens Gates
