wrote to myself. my fellow Pakistanis, I am sure we all couldnt sleep well for last three days. I cant help but dreaming for some miracle that tomorrow will be just fine and all people will be in peace with each other. ooops!. Reality is that executions looks justified and commendble; hasty vengeance can be futile and would not work in the long run in current state of Pakistan. After 14 years of open and overt action the world mightiest power with all its might and sight could not subdue the Talibans, they are still dreadfully active in Afghanistan. The current drama of adhoc executions may make a dent in barbaric lists of a few ....the roots are deep down, and digging them out may take a generation or two..or more... Sadly, the government is not interested in tackling the toughest job what businesses call long term strategy, and the army only knows how to press the trigger. Reading Dawn doesnot provide confidence in proposed decisions by the government. couldnt find any solution. At best it is all reactionary enthusiasm designed to fizzle out as soon as the PM embarks on his next travel plan. The Ceremonial President is already frivolously busy with promoting sino-pak iron strong brothership engineered to snap by the economic gap of the two. Still, i can dream, May Allah saves us all from all fitnas Peace!
