yaeministry.org/devotional.html Daily Empowerment Devotional Wednesday 6 August, 2014 TOPIC: DESTROYERS OF GRACE - PART 2 BIBLE VERSE: 1 Corinthians 15:33 Don’t be fooled by those who say such things, for “bad company corrupts good character.” Skills, experiences, qualifications, etc, may take you to the top, but you will require grace to remain on top. A lot of people got to the top but could not sustain their stay on top. They allowed the destroyer of grace to gain access in them. Today, I share another destroyer called Wrong Association. Every great destiny is at the mercy of association. Who you follow determines what follows you. You cant associate with wrong company and not get disconnected from your link of grace. Maybe you had those wrong association before, you need to disconnect from them. They may have been there yesterday but they are not relevant now. God does not release grace to a stubborn child. A friend to this world (wrong association) is an enemy to God. Therefore, if you must enjoy the grace of God, you must have nothing to do with wrong company. How does wrong association destroys grace? From Ps 1:1 It is clear that blessed is a man that walk not with wrong association. That means curse is a man that walks with wrong association. Association is not for socialization, but for destiny molding. Theres difference between keeping friends and being friendly. When you keep wrong company, you will end up grieving the Holy Spirit as a result of your actions. Friends are not morally neutral, they either influence you positively or negatively. Any friend that is making you to attract disgrace and not grace, is to be disconnected from. PRAYER: Lord, I ask that you divinely disconnect me from every wrong association destroying your grace upon my life. Reposition me to connect with right company.
