yes. this is my business page. but i share who i am quite often on here. i share my children. i share my workouts. i share what i eat, who i am. i share my everyday life. this is my business of children and newborn photography. so opening myself up and sharing ALL of who i am is IMPORTANT to me. my quirkiness. my sarcasm. my wit and humor. how random i am. how goofy, how clumsy, how i love and hate my dogs. how ill eat a sleeve of oreo cookies a night. how i adore my children. how life is amazing but how overwhelming it can be and how sometimes i can feel it all crashing down. i share memes that i think are hysterical. i have shared memes that have a curse word in them. :-O no way! i share how i embarrass my kids by singing and acting corny on car rides. i share my haircuts, my dye job, my annual vacations and my holidays. ive shared my back surgery. my ankle surgery. my sicknesses and ups and downs. i have shared my divorce with you all. i have shared my happiness of my new life and my future husband. i shared every step of my pregnancy and shared my birth story. i have shared luccia with you often. i share hannah and eddie with you and have since day one. i share them so much and so frequently that you are part of their lives and you are watching them grow up just as i am. professionally, you have watched ME grow. images change. style evolve. you have seen this business grow from 500 fans to 44,000. you have been here for a very long time, supporting my growth as a photographer and as a professional. and business or not, its important that you know ME. in all the aspect i have shown you. if you want to hire me to hold and pose your six day old newborn, i feel that you need to have a trust for me, and being an open book here on my business page is how i do it. you trust me with your brand new babies not just bc of a good image or a pose, but bc you already trust me. bc you already know me. you want to hire me to photograph your children and your family? then you are on my page getting to know me through every post i give you. i want you to feel comfortable with knowing who i am, and if i am the right fit for you its bc you really know who i already am, and not just because i take good pictures. so that being said, relax. i didnt really punch my daughter in the face bc she is so cute. obviously. to me cuteness is measured by how aggressive a statement you can make is, so to speak. and obviously how aggressive the statement makes it funny bc thats my sense of humor. i have said i wanna mush my daughters face into the floor bc shes so cute. Ive wanted to rip arms off of her body and just hit her with them for being cute. i have wanted to throw eddie into a wall bc shes so cute. and not just kids. i have wanted to take my great danes jowls and pull them to the floor her face is so cute. you get the point. and ya, i never said everyone had to like who i am or like my sarcasm or how big of a moron i can be or my sense of humor. but relax, i dont need a psych ward bc i have cute aggression and i share that with you all. xoxo ~summer~
