yo yo yo, whats up, gruezi mitenand, thanks for the support and the messages. very cool. got the Hawaii slot at IM Zuerich. target achieved, but not much more than that. not too happy about the race itself. although in difficult rainy and quite windy conditions, the swim was slightly long ca. 250 - 300metres ( Pete Jacobs had 51:00 mins in a wetsuit?? ), that bike course is a tough mother in dry conditions, add rain and wet roads when you have to be handling the bike at high speeds, it is very challenging. the run course is really winding with many uturns and turns. all in all a very slow and syrupy race ( Boris Stein the winner had 08:33 ). i went out way too hard on the bike and thought it was a 70.3 race lol and had to scale back a bit on the second lap. The run and swim itself were good and solid, nothing too wrong there. A course like this with 1300m total climbing and descending is not suited for my body type, which is muscular and therefore i carry around a little bit more weight which doesnt help at all on courses like this. i prefer much more flatter or slightly hilly, wavier courses like lux 70.3, kona, Roth or abu Dhabi or IM TX. but if i wanted to go to Hawaii this year, after the strain the monday before IM TX, i had to do another IM, and from the all the ones that are there IM Suisse was the one that was still suited sort of okayish. but i like Ironman distance racing, together with 70.3 and oly distance non drafting, its my favourite. i love it. so much fun. thanks to Petra, my fam for support, Lubos Bilek. see you in mont tremblant and kona. peace out. :-)
