youtu.be/1kGEz1zDGgY The only reason Im posting this is because this is fan made. Thats right, this entire animation was drawn and animated by fans not affiliated with Disney. The attention to artistic detail is really phenomenal. One of the most difficult aspects to reproduce is style, and this animation seems to have done it fantastically. In particular, look at the backgrounds for the scene. Disney often focuses a lot of their effort in having beautiful settings and a large portion of their concept art are paintings and they translate the oil painting style fairly well. The only thing that does not seem to be identical is the parallax scrolling. Usually, in Disney animation, there are only 2 layers (unless Im remembering wrong) in any given animation. They are the background and the foreground (with characters and important objects, most of which are outlined to help the viewer distinguish them from the background scenery). In this animation, particularly when you see Scar strut outside the cave, you can see at least 3 layers, two backgrounds and a foreground. The reason why this is done is because it better creates the illusion that the animation is happening in a 3D environment as opposed to two layers (the more layers, the more pseudo-depth in an animation there is). This is known as parallax scrolling. Anyways, this is a very lovely animation and I particularly loved Scars vocals. I think his range is higher than the original Scars voice though.
