Flaco Carrillo consists of Latin American musicians who reside in Amsterdam and is the new project of Marco Carrillo. The Chilean electric guitar player was also the founder and composer of bands like Mate, Malahierba, Epoca and Kumbia cl. Marco Toro, the drummer and percussionist from Venezuela strengthens Flaco Carrillo with his passionate performance. He plays in different formations such as his own project Marco Toro y su ensamble, he was a member of the legendary metalatino band Laberinto. Rudy Albano, the saxophone player from Argentina has already released six albums to date recorded at his own independent R.A. Studio. His genre spanning sound embraces different musical styles from salsa up to Jazz which he displays performing with different bands. Emerson Quiroz is from Chile, where he was a member of the world famous band Chico Trujillo. Love made him settle in the Netherlands where he has become a much asked and multifaceted keyboard player with many performances to his name. Alejandro Carbajal is an established singer-songwriter in his birth country Uruguay, he is to release his fifth album this year. Flaco Carrillo’s bass player performs in the Netherlands as well as in Uruguay. He also performs in different musical formations. Pancho Espinoza the lead singer of Flaco Carrillo, has performed with Marco Carrillo in the bands Mate and Malahierba and other projects. The Chilean born is making his comeback after having left the scene for some time ensuring an unforgettable display with his energetic performance. Flaco Carrillo is a party band that stands for powerful upbeat Latin American dance music in an exciting mix with ska, reggae, funk and rock.
