youtu.be/nT2BaiVX-38 The Tenor Guitar was very popular in the 1920 /30s. Originally promoted for banjo players to be able to double on guitar. It was commonly tuned CGDA. Although, it was routinely tuned to DGBE, guitar tuning too. The Tenor guitar is similar to the Plectrum (4 string) banjo that has a longer 26 -27 scale tuned CGBD and the Baritone Ukulele, that in addition to utilizing guitar tuning, uses DGBD, Open G Tuning (known as Taro Patch Tuning in Hawaiian music). On my 4 string instruments, I routinely use DGBD, Open G Tuning. Related to my 3 string CBG, tuned using the chord triad configuration 513 (ADF# - Open D), the 4 string chord triad configuration (513)5 (DGBD - Open G) uses the same Movable Chord Method. See CD 5 (4 string) and CD 6 (3 string) for more information. Click here: ebay/sch/njmikeb/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
