youtu.be/o_l4Ab5FRwM Im not really one to really say much about my service in the U.S. Army, nor am I one to post any sorts of PSAs (or on Facebook at all for that matter), but this video really made me think. A lot of videos are overdramatized but this one couldnt be further from what is actually happening; homelessness, incarceration of the mentally disabled, lack of treatment and support, and the list goes on. If it took me 39 months to get through the Veterans Affairs system then I can only imagine the number of veterans that dont have the support systems that I thankfully had when I got out of the military. All I ask is that everyone looks deep within themselves and finds empathy for their fellow man or woman and offers what help they can; veterans and civilians alike. Set your assumptions aside and remember that you dont know a persons story unless you ask. I have fallen to the depths of woe and barely held on, but many do not have a hand to grasp ahold of. Be that person. Extend a hand to those in need. Love for you all. -Jordan
