Some of my Facebook friends have taken opinions/positions that appear to have been set in concrete regardless of what the forthcoming evidence may show. My position? That nobody should rush out to lynch the police officer-either literally or figuratively-until all the evidence either pro or con has been collected. If the officer is charged, he should stand trial, receive due process of law and be acquitted if the State and/or Federal Govt cannot prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt. Thats the Anglo-American system of justice, which, by the way, is the gold standard benchmark worldwide for fairness. It may not be a perfect system, but its about as close as youre gonna get to it on Planet Earth. ...that being said, I have no respect whatsoever for the slithering opportunistic brain-dead pond scum-masquerading-as-humans who have gutted the community where I spent a good portion of my childhood. There is no rhyme nor reason for using Michael Browns death as an excuse to loot. There is also no logic nor ethical reason to turn this tragedy into racial animosity and hatred...also being exploited by the typical talking-head media whores who always seem to show up uninvited to either get paid financially or increase their political capital. ...just found this video...I hereby nominate the brave cat with the dreadlocks & guts the size of Mt. Everest as a true/epic folk hero...check it out...
