FTR, tho, before my brother rightfully corrects me, is that while Hoover mucked things (like Bushs interventionist policies did) the economy was actually IMPROVING the last quarter before FDRs greater intervention. In fact, compare Hoover to Bush and FDR to Obama and one wonders how they could play exactly the same scenario out in ignorance?
